Visitor Visa

Most travelers receive visa-free entry on arrival for up to 31 days. Schengen Member State nationals can stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period under the 2015 EU-Tonga visa waiver agreement. Extensions available for stays up to 6 months total. Visitors must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months, a return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds. Working, conducting business, or studying is prohibited on a visitor visa. Extensions must be applied for at the Immigration Division in Nuku'alofa before the original visa expires.
