Luganville(Santo)

Luganville is Vanuatu's second-largest town, located on the spectacular island of Espiritu Santo. Known locally as "Santo" or "Kanal," the town serves as a gateway to some of the South Pacific's most remarkable diving sites, including the SS President Coolidge shipwreck and Million Dollar Point.

The town's history is deeply tied to World War II when it served as a major American military base with over 100,000 troops.
