EU Blue Card Visa

Premium work permit for highly qualified non-EU professionals. From January 2026, salary threshold increased to CZK 77,245/month (~€3,150) due to minimum wage adjustments. Requires completed higher education of at least 3 years and employment in a position matching those qualifications. Work contract must be for at least 6 months with stipulated weekly hours. Valid up to 3 years. After 2 years, job changes require only notification (not approval). EU Blue Card holders can bring family members more easily. Provides path to permanent residence and mobility within EU after 18 months.
