Launched January 2025 and extended to 2-year validity in January 2026. Designed for remote workers employed by companies outside Taiwan. Must be from visa-exempt country and meet income requirements: $40,000/year for age 30+, or $20,000/year for ages 20-29. Requires bank balance of at least $10,000 average per month. Does NOT include NHI (National Health Insurance), work permit for local employment, or Taiwan pension. Cannot bring dependents. Private health insurance required for duration of stay. Good option for those who don't qualify for Gold Card but want extended legal stay for remote work.
